WeBe Racing is proud to bring its racers a first for the series, an endurance event.
This will be an amazing race that combines endurance, machine capabilities, and race strategy. All classes will start at 8am. The 6-hour race will go until 2pm. Competitors not racing the event will be flagged off of the course at their respective race completion time. PRO/A/B will race there regular 2 hours based of off the leader, C/Women/Iron Mini, 1 hr. and 15 minutes.
The race will start as a regular hare scramble. After the two-hour mark, new sections will be added to the course every 1-1.5 hour. No practice will be held for the new sections. The course will be getting longer as the race progresses. This will push a rider's skill of race craft. When do you pit? How will you pace yourself?
You can solo the 6-hour, or race as a team. Up to three people. Rider skill specific (no mixing of rider specific classes, C class with C class, A class with A class, and so on)
For teams racing the 6-hour race. Here is an explanation. We have Jack, John, and Jim racing. Jack is Open B. John is 40B. Jim is 250B. They meet the requirement for all having the same skill level to be on a team. Thru a rousing game of rock-paper-scissors, or jousting, it is determined that Jim will lead the team. That means that the first two hours of Jim racing will not only be his time for his regular season race and finish position, but it will also be first two hours of time that go into the 6-hour race. After Jims regular time of 2 hours is done racing for his class, Jim will continue one more lap to allow Jack and John to finish their race. While he is out on the extra lap, Jack and John will be resting, fueling, and be prepared for him to come thru and transfer the relay item to one of them. Let's say that Jack is next. Jim comes around, they transfer the relay item, and off races Jack. Then John goes next. The same team rule applies, riders take turns each lap.
This race will be a points paying race for the regular season.
