The STORY of WeBe

WeBe Racing was formed in 2003 by Brett & Wendy Craig. They built the series from the ground up & developed a loyal following. In 2017, James and Chelsea Wagner purchased WeBe Racing. They focused on developing a family environment, organization, and consistency. The series continues to be one of the premier racing series in the southwest. In 2023, The Dodson family purchased WeBe Racing and have continued to bring new levels of excellence to WeBe Racing!!

 MJ has racing and speed in his blood.  From a young age, he was watching and helping his dad turn wrenches on a street racing Mustang.  His family was always outdoors; camping, fishing or traveling to new places, they were always on the move.  Around age 12, he and his family started snowmobiling.  From there, the motorsports addiction grew.  Quads, jet skis and dirt bikes kept showing up in the garage.  As soon as MJ could drive, he started racing dirt bikes.  A whirlwind of racing took him to places like Loretta Lynns, Ponca, Branson and more nationals.  Securing numerous top ten, and several top five finishes, he had a great racing adventure.  Later in life he came back to racing.  Participating in the WeBe Racing series and others around the southwest in preparation of racing the World Vet Championship.  Some snowmobile racing and full season of jet ski racing has also been in his journey to WeBe Racing.  He still races and rides when life allows it.

Jacki is the opposite of MJ.  She grew up not doing very much in the outdoor lifestyle and had NO IDEA what she was getting into marrying MJ.  She was a swimmer, and an avid pool player (9-ball was her game of choice), but that was the extent.  Meeting MJ changed her life – in a good way!!  From going to dirt bike races, to snowmobiling, to jet skis…..  she has now experienced more than she ever thought she would.  Jacki never expected to own a racing series, but really wanted Gage to grow up in the family atmosphere it creates – and so now we own WeBe!  What a whirlwind – in just a few short years, Jacki has learned so much about racing, bikes, and the wonderful people she gets to interact with each race weekend, and seeing Gage racing out there is such a proud moment for her.  It’s the WeBe Family that make it all worthwhile.  In her spare time (there is not much of it) she likes to read, do Diamond Art, and binge watch TV shows.  Oh – and sleep – she really likes sleep…..  Jacki enjoys getting to watch MJ and Gage race together, when they have the time to venture to other races, and just meeting and building relationships with all the terrific people she gets to encounter in this adventure called life.
